    Senate amendments make the following changes to the 3rd edition.

    Amendment #7 renumbers two senatorial districts. Renumbers proposed District 29 to District 32 and proposed District 32 to District 29. Maintains the previously proposed composition of the districts. Makes conforming organizational changes.

    Amendment #10 changes the short title.

    Senate amendments make the following changes to the 2nd edition.

    Amendment #1 makes a technical correction.

    Amendment #2 moves specified portions of Wake County from proposed District 14 to District 15, and specified portions of Wake County from proposed District 15 to District 14.

    Amendment #6 amends the short title.

    Senate committee substitute makes the following changes to the 1st edition. 

    Changes the short title.

    Amends GS 120-1 to establish boundaries for 50 single-member senatorial districts for the purpose of nominating and electing members of the Senate in 2018 and every two years thereafter. Applies to elections held on or after January 1, 2018.

    A map of the Senate districts proposed and released before the committee meeting is posted on the General Assembly’s website here; however the map does not reflect the Senate districts proposed in the committee substitute.
